Daily Post Picture of the Week – Sunrise on the Sound

Daylight on the Puget Sound

Sunrise on the Sound

This week’s fun photographic diversion and entry for the Daily Post Picture of the Week is taken from my daily commute, which has to be one of the most scenic train commutes in the world!

From the Daily Post website photo them page:

Change is commonly defined as “to give a completely different form or appearance to; to transform.”

The ride takes me south from Everett into downtown Seattle along the coast line of the Puget Sound.  On this day, I was able to capture the perfectly calm waters at sunrise as the land and seascapes transition from night to day.

Does this relate to running?  Well not really but it’s OK to have a recurring non-running theme to change things up once in a while, besides we did run a 10K at the Inspiring Hope Run back in May this year not far from this location in Mukilteo 🙂

Run safe, run strong, run happy!

Cheers!

I’m so impressed! The furthest race I’ve ever run is 15K and that about killed me, lol! Good luck with your next Marathon and what a beautiful part of the States you live in – I’m jealous!

Thank you!! Yes, we are lucky to live in such a beautiful area…it makes the long runs seem less tortuous at times!

OMG, I can’t believe I typed “furthest race”, I meant to put “the longest race I’ve ever run”, lol!!! Can’t seem to edit it. I’m sure you knew what I meant! 🙂
